Job responsibilities

  • Develop optimized, scalable, and modular software using required technologies
  • Take ownership of designing and developing code and unit testing scripts
  • Develop and code back-end components and connect applications to other web services

  • Come up with feasible solutions to complex problems
  • Work on providing a highly automated cloud-based runtime environment
  • Contribute to improving software engineering processes, tooling, and standards

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience in software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Solid understanding of Golang and its paradigms

  • Solid understanding of Golang and its paradigms
  • Provable proficiency with Golang templating, common frameworks, and tools
  • Extensive experience in system design and architecture
  • Good understanding of common Goroutine and channel patterns
  • Experience with popular Go web frameworks, like Revel and router packages
  • Good grasp of CI/CD techniques and tooling
  • Fluency in the English language for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with the US time zone

Preferred skills

  • Exposure to public cloud platform services including AWS, Azure, or GCP SDKs
  • Efficiency in keeping clear, concise documentation for public API consumption
  • Aware of developing and deploying with AWS tools and systems
